Problem
Company: Ganador LTD is a tours and travel company in Uganda. Situation: Ganador provides car hire services, holiday destinations and hotel booking services to both local and foreign tourists. Most of the clients used to call or visit the Ganador offices directly in order to access any of their services. For a tours and travel company, this was a big challenge considering many of the prospective clients search the internet for their next holiday or honeymoon destination. Task: In 2017 Ganador hired me as a Software Developer and Consultant to develop a website that would enable them showcase their services online as well as make the information easily accessible to potential clients. Also part of my task was to see that the site is search engine optimized to enable people find it easily. Action: Together with Ganador representatives, we brainstormed, iterated through various prototypes and phases and built a web application called ganadortourstravel.com. Results: With a website up and running, Ganador joined the fair competition of hundreds of tours and travel website on the internet all offering the next big holiday package.
